Short Break in Prague

Prague is a really pretty city, but unfortunately I didn't get as long there as I was hoping. The plane was delayed by over four hours, which meant I didn't leave Luton until after the time I was supposed to have checked in at the hotel! To add insult to injury I also managed to leave my Nintendo DS on the plane, on my way home. Everything in Prague is so close together that I really only used public transport to get to and from the airport. My hotel was slap bang in the centre of the old town, only a minute from the Astrological Clock. It is a converted old building, that is really quirky, I had to reach my room up a spiral staircase!! I saw the Astrological Clock, Castle, Powder Tower, Petrin Hill, Wenceslas Square and the Charles Bridge. I didn't go on the river as the boat had left, by the time I got to the pier. C'est la vie. I walked everywhere as it really is such a walkable place. Recommended.
