Angie and I went to the Tower of London to see Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red. The maot of the Tower was filled with 888,246 ceramic poppies (one for every British and
Commonwealth serviceman killed in World War One), designed by Tom Piper. An amazing and utterly moving sight. We then saw the Every Man Remembered sculpture in Trafalgar Square, by
Mark Humphrey. This was a soldier in a glass pyramid filled with poppies. Every couple of minutes the poppies swirled inside the box.
