Holiday in Hong Kong & Bali

We had a good time in both Hong Kong and Bali. It was the Moon Festival in Hong Kong when we arrived. So after dinner, on the first day, we crossed over to the island, went up the Peak and saw all the families picnicking, with their lanterns and moon cakes. It was 33 degrees at midnight, and really humid! The second day we took a bus on the island and went to Stanley and explored there. On our final day, we went on a tour of Lantau Island, where we saw the Big Buddha, and Tai O stilt village.

Bali was just as nice as I remembered, but it has been really built up since my last visit. The people are just as friendly though. We zonked for a few days, and then went on an Island tour, where we saw a Barong and Kris dance, visited Mas, Ubud, the Monkey Forest at Ubud, Mount Batur and the Elephant Cave Temple. A couple of days later we went to see the sunset at Tanah Lot. We returned to Hong Kong for one last night, which we spent at the Disneyland Hotel, before spending our last day at Disneyland before the flight home later that day.
